Several years ago, Kenneth and Alfreda Brown Williams identified the need in society to gainfully employ ex-offenders who needed another chance at success in life. They truly believed that every mother and father deserve the right to provide for their family regardless of past circumstances.Through that belief and conception, the ADULT ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM was created as a non-profit 503-C organization dedicated to the cause of helping formally incarcerated (convicted felons) individuals transition back into mainstream society. Our team has developed a 3-Step Program designed around character building, skills training and hands-on experience. It has helped many ex-offenders regain their self-esteem and self-confidence by re-entering the workforce with marketable skillsets in the construction trade. We identify a candidate base, facilitate classroom training, supervise and oversee hands-on training, and expedite certification testing and licensing in primarily the construction trade. Our hope is to enhance family unity through financial stability without the need for crime or criminal involvement, thus giving everyone the skills necessary to get back to or start on the right path to a productive life.

We believe everyone can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
To help families succeed by providing a sound program that transitions ex-offenders, halfway houses and rehab facility participants to mainstream society. We accomplish that by equipping formally incarcerated (convicted felons) individuals with the skills necessary to get back to or start on the right path to a productive life. We have developed a proven 3-Step process that we believe will help fill the gap in society to gainfully employ ex-offenders. Ultimately, we promote family unity through financial stability without the need for criminal activity and thus restore communities one family at a time.
Our Method
Three (3) Step to the Program:

-
Character development through Faith-Based Teachings, behavior modification, and better decision making skills.
-
Skills Training (Contractors teach construction trade skills).
3. Applying skills learned by renovating houses that are condemned, abandoned, or foreclosed. Once complete, they will be offered to low-to-moderate income families. Any proceeds roll- back into the program. Gain Class "C" Contracting License!
